Middle School FLL TEAM: Grades 5-8
Competitive and fun FIRST LEGO LEAGUE Robotics Team
Research and solve a real world problem. Present your solution. Build team skills and unity. Share your faith with the larger robotics community in our state. Teams use the Lego EV3 platform to design, build, and program a robot with sensors to navigate a series of obstacles in fully autonomous mode to participate in the robot games. Team will have optional but highly encouraged meetings over the summer to learn engineering design process, robot basics, and programming. The challenge is released in late August and then the build season begins in earnest.
2017-2018 FLL Challenge
On your mark, get set, flow!
Drink in the 2017/2018 HYDRO DYNAMICS season and learn all about water – how we find, transport, use, or dispose of it. In the 2017/2018 FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge, students age 9 to 16* from 80 countries will make a splash with HYDRO DYNAMICS. What might become possible when we understand what happens to our water?
Season Schedule and Times
The 2017 challenge is released Aug 30 and then the build season begins in earnest. Team will meet one day a week in the evening and some Saturdays from August 30-end of Season.
CPCRC All Robotics Expo
The CPCRC Expo is a school-wide event to showcase the robotics accomplishments of students across all levels of the system and to inspire the broader school community in STEM related efforts. FLL teams will participate in the Expo where they will present and show their research to parent judges and demonstrate their competition-ready robot.
