First Tech Challenge Team designs, builds, programs, and promotes a 18"x18"x18" metal robot running on an android platform to compete in the 2017-2018 Robot game. Learn real world mechanical engineering, programming, marketing, and teamwork skills in a supportive, fun and challenging environment. Share your faith with others in our state, region, and possibly world. Compete for millions of dollars in available scholarships.


2017/2018 FTC Game Announced

The reveal of the season's game "FIRST Relic Recovery" will be revealed to the FTC community online on September 9th, 2017.  This will be a big event that teams often get together to watch together and kicks off the competition season.

Season Schedule and Times

Team will hold optional but highly encouraged builder nights on Friday nights from now through August (contact coaches for dates and times). The 2017 challenge is released early September and then the build season begins in earnest. Team will meet 1-2 days a week in the evening and some Saturdays from August 30-end of Season.

Competitions and CPCRC Expo

CPCRC EXPO tentative date is Dec 1. FIRST WA competitive events dates are not assigned until early November but have typically been 2-3 Saturdays in Nov and Dec before Christmas vacation.  In the event that the team advances, competitions will resume in January 2018 and could run through May if the team advances.
